The Beginning
Trans World Manufacturing was incorporated in 1966 as a Little Ferry, New Jersey trade shop specializing in vacuum forming, die cutting and mounting. James D. Cavaluzzi joined the company in 1969 and began marketing the company’s services directly to consumer product marketers. In 1976, Cavaluzzi purchased controlling interest in the company and was appointed President of Trans World Manufacturing.
Six years later, Trans World Marketing moved to a new, 100,000 square foot headquarters and manufacturing facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The company was renamed Trans World Marketing, signifying the importance of p-o-p as an integral part of the advertising and marketing mix. In 2000, Trans World Marketing purchased a 95,000 square foot facility adjacent to the headquarters, increasing internal capacity to accommodate large fixture manufacturing and fulfillment. |
